About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong leadership skills and hands-on testing experience to help shape the quality of enterprise-level SaaS cybersecurity products. You will play a critical role in identifying product risks, defining testing strategies, and ensuring that product quality is tightly aligned with business priorities.
This is a strategic and operational role that requires someone who is passionate about quality, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and ready to mentor and guide a growing QA team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and manage product risks to prioritize testing efforts effectively
- Define and execute manual/exploratory UI and API tests
- Lead the design and development of detailed test plans and test cases
- Analyze test results and report defects using test management tools
- Ensure test data creation, analysis, and accuracy
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams across the SDLC
- Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Assign tasks and distribute workload across QA team members
- Lead team standups, define priorities, and share QA outcomes with leadership
- Mentor, manage, and train QA engineers in best practices and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 7+ years in software quality assurance and testing
- Experience in leading QA teams and managing complex projects
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, STLC, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Proactive, self-managed, and highly detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- ISTQB or CSTE certification
- Familiarity with Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications
- Experience in performance, security, and usability testing
- Working knowledge of GenAI tools for testing
- Strong Linux and database skills
- Deep understanding of BlackBox testing and exploratory testing techniques
