A fully remote (anywhere across EU) Software Engineer is required for a fast-growing Biopharma company who create digital models of cells to help drug companies develop new medicines faster and more efficiently. Instead of doing expensive and time-consuming lab experiments, they use ‘Digital Twins’ - virtual copies of cells - to predict how cells will behave in different conditions. This helps companies quickly find the best cells to use for producing medicines, reducing costs and improving quality. Big pharmaceutical companies use this technology to speed up drug production and make the process more reliable.
The Software Engineer will play a crucial role in building SAAS software, building up infrastructure and cloud computing, optimizing ML model performance, and integrating models into production environments to support their mission of advancing biopharma process development through digitalization. This role will be the key to sitting between Process Modelling and external parties. There is an opportunity to lead an offshore team on a crucial project for the company.
Their HQ is based in Germany, but this role could be remotely based anywhere across the EU. On offer is a highly competitive salary and benefits package which can be disclosed upon application. English communications skills are a requirement.
Their CEO has expressed a keen interest in finding strong Software Development and SaaS knowledge. Strong knowledge of Python is a requirement. As well as experience in as many of the following as possible would be an advantage: PyTorch, Kubernetes, TensorFlow, Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, Flyte, AirFlow, AWS, Azure.
