We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading software engineering clients! They are currently looking for a skilled UX Designer to join their team for a three-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our Experience Design team on a contract basis, working on our platform of cloud products for the Construction industry.
- Evolve rough concepts into high-quality UX mock-ups and clickable prototypes for feedback and testing.
- Support the production of compelling presentations to communicate new feature concepts.
- Produce reusable UI components and other assets to expand our UI design language.
- Support our growing design system with well-organised files and assets.
- Engage in critiques and other sessions as part of our regular project related design team activities.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Highly proficient in Figma for UX and UI design and rapid prototyping.
- Prior experience designing for web applications.
- Strong understanding of component-based UI design.
- A great eye for visual and interaction details.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Experience in user research - interviews, ethnography, user testing, etc.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively ask questions, clarify briefs, explore alternatives.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
- Experience with web front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).
- Experience working with 3D graphics and/or engineering/construction products
- Experience creating UIs with a focus on data visualisation/dashboards.
