DevOps Engineer in POLAND

Role: DevOps Engineer

Mode: Contract (B2b/Freelance)

Location: Poland (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable application delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, deployment, and release processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Shell, Bash, Python, or Groovy.
• Leverage Java skills for build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle), application configuration, and integration.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Support and improve application logging, alerting, and monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and production incidents.
• Ensure security best practices across the pipeline and infrastructure layers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, particularly in build management, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
