Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Server Developer to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have deep experience in database design, optimization, and development using Microsoft SQL Server technologies. You’ll play a key role in managing and improving mission-critical systems, working closely with engineering, product, and data teams.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets
• Collaborate with application developers and data teams to design scalable database solutions
• Maintain database integrity and security
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
• Implement and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or equivalent tools
• Document database design and architecture
• Support production deployments and monitor database performance

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and newer)
• Strong expertise in T-SQL, indexing strategies, and execution plans
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and normalization
• Experience working with high-availability environments
• Solid understanding of database security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in cloud environments (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.)
• Power BI or data visualization experience
• Experience with version control for database changes (e.g., Git, Flyway)
