About the role

Highly skilled and experienced Flutter Developer with a strong background in mobile app development with over 5 years of experience, including 4+ years working specifically with the Flutter framework. She/He will be responsible for building high-performance, well-designed mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring that our customers enjoy a smooth and delightful user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Flutter applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionality.

• Maintain and enhance existing codebase to improve performance, stability, and scalability.

• Optimize application performance, address bottlenecks, and improve application responsiveness.

• Ensure best practices and coding standards are adhered to, including conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Integrate with RESTful APIs, external data sources, and third-party libraries.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development and Flutter ecosystem.

• Lead architecture decisions and implement scalable solutions for complex mobile applications.

• Perform platform-specific optimizations and handle device-specific requirements.

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical documentation.

• Participate in sprint planning and provide effort estimations.

Skills, Expertise and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar, advanced degree preferred with outstanding record of academic achievement.

• 5+ years history of total mobile app development.

• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart programming language.

• Strong understanding of state management approaches in Flutter (Provider, BLoC, Riverpod, GetX).

• Proven experience in building and publishing Flutter apps for both iOS and Android.

• Expertise in integrating Flutter applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns.

• Experience with Firebase services, push notifications, and analytics.

• Proficient in building UI components, custom animations, and implementing complex UI designs.

• Familiarity with native development in iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with an emphasis on quality.

Additional Required Technical Skills

• Advanced Responsive Design:

• Expertise in creating adaptive layouts for different screen sizes and orientations.
• Experience with custom responsive widgets and screen utilities.
• Knowledge of platform-specific design guidelines (Material Design, Cupertino).

• Native Development Integration:

• Ability to write and integrate platform-specific code using Method Channels.
• Experience in developing custom platform-specific plugins.
• Proficiency in debugging native crashes and performance issues.
• Knowledge of platform permissions and security requirements.

• App Store Expertise:

• Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play ConsoleDigital Factory | Assessment Process.
• Understanding of app signing, provisioning profiles, and certificates.
• Knowledge of app store guidelines and submission requirements.
• Experience in handling app updates and version management.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Proficiency in writing unit tests, widget tests, and integration tests.
• Experience with Flutter Driver for end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of test coverage tools and continuous testing practices.
• Understanding of performance profiling and optimization techniques.

• CI/CD and DevOps:

• Experience with DevOps pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Understanding of different environment configurations (dev, staging, production).
• Experience with automated code quality checks and static analysis.

• Advanced Flutter Concepts:

• Deep understanding of Flutter's widget tree and render tree.
• Experience with custom painters and advanced animations.
• Knowledge of platform channels and native code integration.
• Proficiency in memory management and performance optimization.

• Cross-Platform Expertise:

• Understanding of platform-specific limitations and capabilities.
• Experience with cross-platform persistence solutions.
• Knowledge of platform-specific hardware integration.
• Ability to optimize app size and performance for both platforms
