Founding Engineer Role

Plexus has teamed up with a boutique and early stage MEV focused project. Building an innovative block-building protocol on Ethereum, focusing on optimizing block construction. While the role is not exclusively MEV-related, the project aligns closely with the principles of Flashbots, emphasizing product development over direct competition.

We are seeking a highly skilled Rust Developer with deep expertise in blockchain technologies, particularly within the DeFi/Crypto space. This role offers the potential for career growth, with an emphasis on promoting internally to a CTO-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize blockchain protocols with a primary focus on Rust (80% Rust, 20% Solidity).
• Implement and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable systems for block building on Ethereum.
• Collaborate closely with a distributed team to align on architecture and protocol design.
• Strong proficiency in Rust programming with hands-on experience in blockchain development.
• Working knowledge of Solidity with the ability to integrate within a Rust-dominant environment.
• Proven track record in high-frequency trading (HFT) or MEV-related development is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate non-traditional or variable working hours

Base + Equity + Tokens

The role is fully remote, US-Candidates would be W2 employment, non-US would be B2B
