Description

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive designing and supporting complex networks and devices to join us. You will work with a team of network engineers and other IT professionals on a variety of environments.

This is a fully remote permanent position which requires excellent English communication and the ability to work according to a GMT-7 schedule. You must apply with an English resume to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configure and install network devices, particularly Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco products
• Be the final level of support for network troubleshooting on internal and customer environments
• Mentor team members on technical issues, train current and future engineers
• Communicate with users as needed
• Create and maintain complete technical documentation
• Fully track time and work done on internal and customer tickets and projects
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary

You should be deeply familiar with:

• Palo Alto, Fortinet, and/or Cisco devices
• Switch/Router/Firewall configuration
• TCP/IP, Layer 2 (VLAN) and Layer 3
• Wireless knowledge (802.11x)
• WAN NNI circuit
• Stack
• Ubiquity

Requirements:

• 10+ years of network engineering and architectural experience
• B2 minimum English skills

Preferred candidates will also have:

• Experience with BGP in an MSP or data center environment
• Networking certifications like CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, PCNSE, PCNSC, FCX, FCSS, FCP
• Bachelor's degree in network or system engineering
