Our client is seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer to join their remote team. This role is critical in shaping the integration of Solana into their bridging infrastructure, optimizing smart contracts, and ensuring high-performance cross-chain transactions.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Solana smart contracts (Rust, Solana Program Library) for scalability and security.
- Design and execute the expansion strategy for Solana and other non-EVM chains.
- Map and port EVM functionalities to Solana, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Collaborate with backend, smart contract, and API teams to integrate cross-chain solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions for long-term multi-chain expansion.
What They Require
- 3-4+ years of blockchain development experience, with at least 1+ year working with Solana.
- Strong expertise in Rust and Solana program architecture.
- Basic Solidity & EVM knowledge to understand and port functionalities.
- Experience building and deploying scalable Solana applications.
- Time zone compatibility: GMT-0 to GMT+7 for optimal collaboration
What They Value
- Experience in DeFi, AMMs, liquidity protocols, and bridging infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Jupiter, Wormhole, LayerZero, or similar Solana projects.
- A passion for building scalable blockchain infrastructure.
