Java Developer (API) | Relocation to Australia Offices in IRELAND

This vacancy is tied to Ireland but we are actively looking to relocated people to Australia (Melbourne)

We are in search of a Java Developer with a minimum 4-5 years building APIs, with AWS cloud -CI/CD knowledge. We will provide a relocation package to Melbourne, Australia for you and any immediate family; this includes visas for the whole family and free initial accommodation to help you get settled there.

The Java Developer will be expected to fulfill the following:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse API requirements whilst designing developing and maintaining RESTful APIs that adhere to best practices and industry standards.

The Java Developer will also be expected to Implement and authenticate security features for APIs, optimise API performance for scalability and efficiency, create and maintain API documentation whilst also developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.

The successful hire will also be expected to get involved in DevOps-related processes such as automating deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure API reliability and performance.

The Java Developer must possess the following skills / experience:

• Strong experience working with and maintaining RESTful API's
• Excellent Java development experience using the latest versions
• Strong use of spring boot framework and other java frameworks
• First-hand experience working within a cloud/devops environment on commercial cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
