Site Reliability Engineer -Backend / Blockchain / GoLang

We are currently partnered with an exciting blockchain lab enabling cutting-edge protocols in the Ethereum space actively supporting a remote-first environment. They are currently looking to expand their infrastructure team with a Site Reliability Engineer.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities for this Site Reliability Engineer position:

• The position has an 80/20 split between Site Reliability and Software Engineering.
• Ensure high availability and failure tolerance on infrastructure.
• Automate the configuration and maintenance of software components including K8s, NATS, and Cloudflare.
• Design and implement cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Manage automation of validator and RPC nodes
• Contribute to software engineering projects including the development of sidecars that implement infrastructure, time series processing engines, and indexer/blockchain event aggregation pipelines.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering with strong programming skills in GoLang.
• Proven track record working as a backend internet services software developer.
• Knowledgeable of SDLC; including CI and testing methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of base internet infrastructure services and SRE principles.
• Previous expereince of development within Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Expereince with streaming and pubsub systems.
