Live and work in beautiful Oslo (Norway) as a Mainframe System Admin for z/OS!

A well-known outsourcing client in Oslo is currently looking for a creative, talented and self-motivated Mainframe System Administrator for zOS New Application (IIB) on a permanent contract basis.

In brief:

- daily work in the centre of Oslo -if you live outside of Norway, relocation is provided

- hybrid work - 50% in the month on-site

- various projects, working on a major software upgrade

- daily communication is in English due to international teams and clients

- Work in the local time zone

- The team is located in Norway - approx 20 people

- The client wants to recruit new developers urgently, so the recruitment process is smooth!

The most important is:

• Experience working with z/OS UNIX System Services or related products
• Proficiency with common zOS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF, ISH, zOSMF
• Experience Installing, maintaining, and configuring products like Websphere Liberty server, z/OS Connect, IBM Integration Bus and Apache HTTP server (IBM and Tomcat)
• Understanding of z/OS and subsystems like IMS, DB2, CICS, MQ, TCP/IP
• English language, at least on the B2 level for easy communication
• EU citizenship/ Blue card/work permit in EU (company does not support legal stay in Norway)

Salary:

salary based on your skills and experience

+ relocation package if you want to move to Norway
