Senior Data Centre Technician - GPU / AI Cloud Infrastructure
Hamburg, Germany OR Newcastle, United Kingdom | Onsite | Relocation supported (Visa unfortunately not supported)
We’re supporting a fast-scaling European AI cloud infrastructure company building the compute layer behind modern AI workloads - training, inference, experimentation and deployment at scale.
Multiple varying roles, for this they’re looking for a Senior Data Centre Technician to take hands-on ownership of a key Hamburg & Newcastle site.
This is not a “wait for tickets” environment. You’ll be the person who knows the site inside out: power, cooling, dependencies, risks, hardware, future upgrades and day-to-day operations. As the site grows, there is also scope to help build and mentor the local team around you.

What you’ll be doing:
- Installing, configuring and maintaining GPU servers, storage, networking and DC hardware
- Supporting high-density GPU infrastructure across NVIDIA Ampere, Hopper and Blackwell generations
- Monitoring power, cooling, environmental conditions and 24/7 operational health
- Leading or supporting build-outs, data hall openings, migrations and hardware refreshes
- Planning future installations and upgrades as power capacity expands
- Working closely with remote teams, network engineers, sysadmins and DC leadership
- Mentoring junior technicians as the site scales
What they’re looking for:

- 3-5+ years in data centre or infrastructure operations
- Strong hands-on enterprise server / GPU server experience
- Ability to work independently, prioritise quickly and solve problems under pressure
- Comfortable onsite full-time in Hamburg or Newcastle
- Bonus: liquid cooling / DLC, large cluster deployments, site build-outs or team mentoring
