Senior Java Developer in NETHERLANDS

I am seeking a skilled Software Engineer who will design, and maintain software applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Responsibilities include writing clean, scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, and troubleshooting issues.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in Java (Spring Boot), PostgreSQL/DocumentDB, and Docker.
• Is proficient in AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, KMS) and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Understands CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Infrastructure as Code (preferably CloudFormation).
• Excels at troubleshooting, optimizing complex systems, and delivering clean, scalable code.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and thrives in a multicultural team setting.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of TypeScript, AWS Lambdas, or .NET.

Key Details:

• 2 days per week on site in Utrecht
• 6-month extendable contract, up to 2 years.

Note: We can only consider candidates already based in the Netherlands, as relocation is not possible for this role. Visa sponsorship might be an option if you are already residing in the Netherlands.
