Role Description

This is a full-time remote role, (Freelancer are welcome too) for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at WorkMotion The Engineer will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, conducting manual and software testing, and implementing QA automation processes to ensure the quality of the company's HR platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Implement best practices for test automation and performance testing.
• Continuously improve and maintain test frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements for enhanced software quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automated QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Availability to start soon and meet project deadlines.
