Business Analyst (relocation to Portugal) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst willing to relocate to or currently located in Luxembourg.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, managing data migration, testing IT deliveries, and providing documentation and training for the ASApp Migration project.

Key Responsibilities:

Definition of Project Scope:

• Create detailed “as-is” functional specifications of features in the current JADE system
• Identify common functionalities and gaps compared to the ASApp IT tool
• Define “as-is” and “to-be” workflows
• Specify business requirements for missing functionality in ASApp, including:
• Data model
• Detailed specifications of new features
• List of data fields with types and properties
• Use cases and actors
• Business processes, events, and status diagrams
• Application screens, access rights, business rules, alerts, and notifications
• Documents and reporting requirements
• Extensions to Data Warehouse and universe per DGO best practices
• Identify potential IT functional improvements aligned with future requests and JASPERS management needs

Data Migration Management:

• Elaborate a field-to-field migration document for the data migration from JADE to ASApp

Project Test Approach:

• Develop and execute test plans based on requirements
• Detect and track bugs (e.g., JIRA) and coordinate test activities among stakeholders
• Test IT deliveries, including ASApp features and universe extensions
• Obtain endorsement from partners following the successful testing phase

Training and Documentation:

• Document the new solutions and provide training sessions and individual coaching to JASPERS users and relevant colleagues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience
• Strong expertise in business requirement analysis, including:
• Business requirements gathering
• Functional and technical analysis
• Experience in testing business software and managing IT project lifecycles
• Knowledge of project management practices, including both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Stakeholder management and experience reporting to management-level executives
• Proficiency in enterprise-scale applications and systems
• Communication and user training skills, with excellent written and presentation abilities in English
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse and reporting solutions in Business Objects
• Pragmatic and solution-driven approach to resolving complex problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Experience within projects involving enterprise-scale applications
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA and knowledge of best practices for Data Governance Office (DGO)
