Data Engineer (Scala / Databricks) in GERMANY

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of our data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Keeping our existing data pipelines running smoothly
• Developing new data pipelines using Scala, Spark, and Databricks
• Optimizing the performance of our data platform
• Troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues
• Working with Azure data services, including SQL Database and Azure Data Explorer

This is a critical role for our company, and we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Scala, Spark, and Databricks
• Optimize the performance of our data platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
• Work with Azure data services, including SQL Database and Azure Data Explorer
• Keep our existing data pipelines running smoothly
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to develop new features and functionality
• Stay up to date on the latest data engineering technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or a related role
• Experience with Scala, Spark, and Databricks
• Experience with Azure data services, including SQL Database and Azure Data Explorer
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
