Technical Architect (Azure Cloud & .NET) in COLOMBIA

At Solvo Global we are looking for a Technical Architect in the cities of Bogota, Armenia, Ibague, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cali and Bucaramanga to join our growing team with one of our most important North American Clients of our company.

The Technical Architect will be responsible for the design, management and maintenance of our cloud computing systems. This role will play a crucial role in the development team to ensure we are leveraging cloud technologies to enhance operations towards achieving our identified strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the cloud architecture efficiently and securely, ensuring it is robust, secure, scalable and highly available.
• Help define the organization's cloud strategy, select appropriate cloud services and ensure that the infrastructure meets business and technical requirements.
• Integrate various cloud services and technologies to optimize resources and reduce costs.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
• Monitor cloud systems to ensure optimal performance, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with service providers.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Work closely with IT and security teams to monitor cloud privacy and optimize performance.
• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to the cloud.
• Create and maintain documentation on cloud architectures, operations and workflows.

Requirements:

• Professional studies in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Experience with large, complex information systems with a strong background in cloud services.
• Experience developing cloud native applications.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, network operations, software development and information security.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a nice to have
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• FLUENT communication skills in English, 90% and above. Required.
