Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master / Product Owner to join our cybersecurity team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and guide the development of critical security products, combining the task management expertise of a Scrum Master with the strategic vision of a Product Owner. Your focus will be on enhancing our cybersecurity posture through effective product development and management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sprint Planning and Management: Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure clarity and productivity among the team.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, focusing on critical cybersecurity enhancements and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address cybersecurity risks associated with product development.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the scrum process and the product's impact on the cybersecurity posture.


Performance Indicators:

  • Sprint Success Rate: Measured by the percentage of sprints successfully meeting planned objectives.
  • Backlog Health: Regular assessment of backlog items to ensure they are relevant, prioritized, and estimated accurately.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Measured through regular feedback loops with project stakeholders.
  • Risk Mitigation Effectiveness: Frequency and impact of cybersecurity risks before and after mitigation efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Product Owner within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent certifications.
