IT Director of Integration Architecture - Manufacturing/Construction (must have)

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Director of Integration Architecture - Manufacturing/Construction with a strong background in data movement, transformation, and cloud integration. This fully remote role offers a 6-month contract. The role is a back fill of a perm role in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Management
• Provide leadership experience to drive technical governance, and timely delivery of key projects.
• Perform as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
• Act as a technical expert and resource across multiple disciplines.
• Work collaboratively with Business Stakeholders and IT colleagues to ensure that solutions work to agreed specifications.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure they are delivering best value, high quality services.
• Technology Service Delivery and Strategy
• Guide Integration team on best practices and architecture surrounding integration design and implementation using integration platforms.
• Oversee the design of reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Ensure all solution delivery meets required standards with regards to security, performance, scalability, reliability, and other operational concerns.
• Oversee the provision of a solid, reliable, and expanding set of data warehouse and ETL capabilities, supporting strategic and high velocity decision-making.

Expertise required:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in delivering enterprise solutions at a senior level.
• Detailed exposure to manufacturing and/or Construction software applications sector. (must have)
• 5+ years leading technical teams and vendors during large implementation programs.
• Proven knowledge and experience with integration technologies.
• Technical acumen to understand the importance of below technologies and effectively manage the creation of solutions using:
• ETL and EDW technology.
• Cloud-based platforms like Azure, AWS, OCI
• ERP Software

Methodical Expertise (eg project management skills, work techniques, strategic thinking, analytical thinking, conceptualizing, innovative capability etc.). Please add rows as required.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
• Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
• Success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as Agile and DevOps.
