Responsibilities
Maintain technology strategy and communicate it to partners and investors
Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely
Research, analyze, design, propose and support the delivery of solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
Setting goals that help meet the organization’s needs, set a high standard for success, and draw on the strength of team managers
Building a technology leadership team that can expertly manage their own teams, develop a strong and focused culture, and be responsive to the organization’s needs
Resolves most conflicts between timeline, budget and scope independently but intuitively escalates complex or consequential issues to the board
Incorporates testing and thinks about reliability as a natural part of delivering working software
Establish strong working relationships and build trust with peers, including teams representing business/clients eg Product, Sales Engineers, Client Support, etc
Qualifications And Skills
10+ years of experience leading and being successful in the tech industry
Greater than 8 years of app development and technology delivery experience required
Greater than 3 years of management and/or leadership experience required
Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills, including a track record of coaching and mentorship
Strong communication skills with the ability to present a technology vision confidently in a way that motivates others both internally and externally
Understanding of budgets and business-planning
Capacity to work with a high degree of professionalism
Strategic thinking, creative/visionary
Requirements
Experienced with several programming paradigms
Deep understanding of SOLID, DDD, various architectural design patterns
Able to design and architect maintainable and scalable technical systems
Deep understanding of Data Engineering tech landscape
