7. Voip Network Engineer in LATIN AMERICA

We are seeking a skilled VoIP Integration Engineer to design, optimize, and oversee the implementation of our company’s VoIP infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable and reliable VoIP solutions, integrating them seamlessly with existing systems, and ensuring high-performance communication across all platforms.

This role requires expertise in VoIP systems and protocols, a deep understanding of integration practices, and the ability to address complex architectural challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement VoIP system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with current network and telecommunication infrastructures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into VoIP architecture solutions.
• Develop and maintain standards, best practices, and documentation for VoIP architecture and integrations.
• Configure, test, and optimize VoIP solutions, including hardware, software, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot VoIP-related performance issues and provide effective resolutions.
• Lead the deployment of advanced VoIP features such as call routing, call center solutions, and unified communications.
• Evaluate emerging VoIP technologies and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and reliability.
• Implement robust security measures to protect VoIP systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Train and mentor internal teams on VoIP architecture and integration practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in VoIP architecture and system integration, including designing and implementing scalable solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, H.323) and their application in diverse environments.
• Strong experience in unified communications platforms (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Asterisk, Microsoft Teams).
• Familiarity with cloud-based VoIP solutions and platforms, preferably AWS or similar.
• Advanced understanding of VoIP hardware and software, including PBX systems, softphones, and gateways.
• Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization tools tailored for VoIP.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux-based environments and scripting for system automation.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on VoIP system security and reliability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with creating comprehensive VoIP architecture diagrams and system documentation.
