Head of Finance (Digital Currency) – APAC Singapore

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance (Digital Currency) to join a leading global organisation with a focus on Web3 initiatives and digital assets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance leader to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving digital currency space.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the growth of Web3 initiatives and digital currency operations.
• Oversee the management of both fiat and crypto assets, ensuring secure storage, proper valuation, and effective utilization.
• Assist with tax matters including FATCA, CRS, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis on product and platform business models, identifying key insights, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations such as Singapore FRS and IFRS.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct internal audits and establish robust internal controls to safeguard both fiat and crypto assets.
• Develop investment strategies that optimize returns while managing financial risks.
• Streamline financial operations and accounting processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to offer financial insights, analyses, and strategic plans.
• Report monthly management accounts to headquarters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) highly preferred.
• A minimum of 6-8 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge and understanding of Blockchain technology, digital currencies, and digital assets.
• Proven experience within the digital currency space.
