Senior Developer / Platform Deployment (Python, Go, OpenShift) - relocation to the Netherlands in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer / Consultant – Platform Deployment willing to relocate to or currently located in Zoeterwoude, the Netherlands.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Developer/Consultant with a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in development and expertise in Python and Go (Golang), coupled with significant experience in data-centric platforms and a focus on OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Deployment: Lead the deployment and optimization of OpenShift platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Data-Driven Approach: Leverage a strong background in data to inform decisions and enhance platform performance.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align deployment strategies with business objectives.
• Infrastructure Familiarity: Utilize knowledge of Kubernetes and infrastructure-side operations to support and enhance deployment pipelines.
• Technical Advisory: Provide insights and recommendations on best practices for platform deployment, leveraging expertise in Dev/Infra areas.

Qualifications:

• Development Expertise: Proficient in Python and Go (Golang), with experience in large-scale systems.
• Data Focus: Strong understanding of data management principles in platform environments.
• OpenShift Experience: Hands-on experience with OpenShift for platform deployment and management.
• Kubernetes Knowledge: Familiarity with Kubernetes and related container orchestration tools.
• Infrastructure Understanding: Awareness of infrastructure-side processes, including system design and maintenance.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science or a related field, emphasizing development and infrastructure.
