Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow developers on refactoring existing features and designing new core functionalities for the game.
- Contribute to technical design aimed at enhancing the quality, flexibility, and simplicity of in-game feature development within a complex, sharded system spanning multiple services.
- Work with advanced tools, libraries, and frameworks like PostgreSQL, Clang, and Boost, using custom utilities for creating game features.
- Build scalable, maintainable solutions for a large codebase across hundreds of service instances.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian
- At least 3+ years of solid experience in C++.
- Knowledge of network basics, including TCP/IP and any RPC or HTTP protocols.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Proficiency in multithreading and Linux.
- Willingness to learn Python for tool development and automation.
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with GitLab, TeamCity, Ansible, SonarQube, Clang-Tidy, and Clang-Format.
- Experience with game development, particularly in scalable, high-performance systems.
