Job Title: VMware Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:
Install, de-install, configure, and maintain the hypervisor host in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure alignment with the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL).
Provide remote access and manage permissions securely.
Develop standardized workflows and implement Self Services (IaaS deployment).
Deploy and manage virtual machines.
Collaborate closely with the Storage Team to manage storage for the virtual environment.
Make necessary changes to infrastructure components and support audit and patching activities.
Maintain and update configuration-items in the CMDB.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Implement a Continuous Improvement Plan.
Document architecture, processes, procedures, and tickets as required.
Requirements:
Experience with Hypervisor: VMware vSphere 6.7 and later.
Hands-on experience managing VMs and ESX hosts through vCenter 6.7 and later.
Proficiency in reporting with RVTools and VMware Aria Operations.
Automation expertise with VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO/vRA) and PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket and Git.
Secure remote access management via iLO and iDrac.
Experience in log management and analysis with VMware Aria Operations for Log.
Strong familiarity with ITIL processes.
Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
Crucial: Experience with VMware Aria tool is mandatory.
