This VC-backed start-up is building the future of Private Equity AI. Following a significant initial investment, they are looking to bring on a founding product manager. The ideal candidate understands (and has worked both in-house and vendor side) Private Equity and Investment Banking. If you have experience with and are motivated by a 0-1 build, owning product end-to-end and scaling, you are the right person for this rapidly scaling organization. Please note that this role is onsite in NYC, relocation is facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Own products e2e from inception to launch
• Work with large customers to inform and guide the strategic direction and positioning of the product
• Create new pricing/business models to align business model with our value proposition
• Work closely with our founders, engineering team, and GTM team
• Establish a product-led culture within the organization

Qualifications

• Track record of producing needle-moving work within established timeframe and budgets
• Relentlessly ambitious with high standards
• You're highly autonomous with enormous attention to detail
• Passion for building best-in-class products to solve real customer pain points
• 5+ years of experience in product management and/or software engineering/data science
• Degree or relevant experience in CS or Engineering
• Experience with or knowledge of AI and LLMs
• 2+ years of financial services experience on buy-side or sell-side in investment banking as an analyst or adjacent position
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York City

• Early-stage start-up experience, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Python experience
• Intimate understanding of investment banking or private equity workflows
• Curious about AI, LLMs and their potential in the world of private equity and large financial institutions
