Puffy, a leading e-commerce business in the mattress and bedding industry, is seeking an exceptional Chief AI Operations Officer to join our executive team in our Dubai office. This pivotal role reports directly to our visionary CEO, a distinguished Forbes Council member. The Chief AI Operations Officer will be responsible for driving AI-powered transformation, revolutionizing day-to-day business operations, and spearheading strategic initiatives through advanced AI adoption and implementation across the organization. Serving as both a key advisor to the CEO and principal AI strategist, the Chief AI Operations Officer will shape the future of our rapidly growing AI-first company from the inside out. Responsibilities:
- Drive AI-powered transformation across the organization, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to revolutionize day-to-day business operations.
- Spearhead AI adoption and implementation in all departments, including human resources, talent acquisition, project management, and other leading departments.
- Partner closely with the CEO to manage priorities, streamline decision-making processes and drive key AI-centric initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking progress on strategic initiatives across all departments.
- Review and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven insights.
- Handle budgetary planning and cost management, including allocation of resources for strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the executive leadership team, ensuring alignment on strategic goals, priorities, and technological innovations.
- Implement risk management and crisis resolution strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, AI or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of executive-level experience, preferably in e-commerce or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of AI technologies and their business applications in an operational context.
- Proven business operations background with strong critical thinking, analytical, and numerical reasoning skills.
- Excellent project management skills in implementing organizational strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand and contribute to various business functions.
