Job Title: Staff Flutter Engineer (Fully Remote)


We are looking for a Staff Flutter Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. In this role, you'll work with global teams across product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and engineering to architect and develop multi-platform applications. You’ll apply your expertise in Flutter to design and build high-quality apps while fostering a culture of high performance and mentorship within your team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop customer-focused applications using Flutter/Dart across mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
  • Elevate engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and technical workshops to ensure high-performing, secure, and well-tested applications.
  • Monitor and improve application reliability, and operational performance, and suggest improvements to enhance quality, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate on product roadmaps by working closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Lead complex technical initiatives through hands-on contributions, including proof-of-concepts (POCs) and direct coding.
  • Establish and uphold best practices for coding standards, maintainability, and scalability in high-scale systems environments.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in solving performance and optimization challenges.
  • Expertise in Flutter/Dart and its ecosystem, including state management, widget libraries, and asynchronous programming.
  • Proven experience in multi-platform development using Flutter, focusing on mobile, web, and desktop applications from a single codebase.
  • Experience delivering high-quality, responsive, and efficient user interfaces using Flutter, with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java for Android or Swift for iOS development, with working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript in production environments.
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices in application development.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS serverless preferred) and native environments.
  • Strong skills in technical documentation, including the use of the C4 Model and Architectural Decision Records.
  • A passion for mentoring and leading teams, with a focus on clear communication, inclusion, and fostering team growth.
