Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Electron Desktop Application Focus)

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to focus on developing an Electron-based desktop application and supporting web services for their core product. This role is central to creating innovative consumer products used by millions of people worldwide, driving the next generation of gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an Electron-based desktop application that will be used by millions of consumers globally.
• Build and enhance features using React, Redux, and Electron to create a seamless user experience for gamers and creators alike.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is scalable to 100+ million users, with a focus on delivering high-quality features that creators love.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the platform, ensuring stability, performance, and a polished user interface.
• Optimize for user engagement and create new experiences that push the boundaries of the gaming industry.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in React, Redux, and Electron: Extensive hands-on experience developing applications with modern React practices, including advanced JavaScript and Node.js knowledge.
• Experience scaling platforms to handle millions of users, with a keen focus on performance and user satisfaction.
• Full-stack experience is a bonus: Familiarity with Java, C#, and C++ is beneficial for integrating various parts of the system.
• Strong understanding of web services architecture and how desktop applications interact with cloud-based services.
• Team player with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work in-person in NYC (relocation assistance is available).
