About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced full-time Video Editor who’s ready to dive into the deep end and bring engaging, high-quality YouTube content to life. This isn’t your average editing role. You’ll be stepping into a dynamic environment where innovation, creativity, and high standards for video content are the norm.
How You’ll Spend Your Days:
- Edit compelling and visually engaging faceless YouTube videos using AI-generated avatars and other innovative tools
- Collaborate closely with the YouTube Script Writer/Strategist to ensure the final output aligns with the content strategy and objectives
- Design and implement eye-catching thumbnails, titles, and graphical elements that maximize click-through rates and audience engagement
- Manage the entire post-production process, including audio mixing, color correction, and visual effects, to deliver high-quality videos
- Continuously experiment with new editing styles and techniques to keep content fresh, engaging, and optimized for YouTube algorithms
- Optimize videos for YouTube SEO, ensuring that titles, descriptions, tags, and other metadata are tailored for maximum visibility
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in video editing and YouTube optimization
Who You Are:
- You have 2+ years of experience in video editing, especially for YouTube or other digital content platforms
- You are proficient with industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or similar tools
- You are comfortable working with AI-generated avatars and other innovative technologies to enhance video content
- You are detail-oriented, with a strong creative eye and an understanding of pacing, timing, and storytelling
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple projects at once
- You have a strong grasp of YouTube best practices and know how to optimize videos for maximum engagement and growth
