Senior Infrastructure Engineer in UNITED KINGDOM

Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Up to $200k plus tokens - Hybrid Working - London

A top firm in the blockchain space is looking to add an experienced Senior-level Infrastructure Engineer to their team. They are looking to build a fully decentralized exchange (DEX) all on an EVM Chain and you can be a key player. In this role, you will create and deploy infrastructure for both production and testing, monitor performance to handle issues or scaling needs, and set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You'll also work closely with other engineers to ensure the infrastructure supports their front and backend services effectively.

Prior experience in the blockchain industry is nice to have but not a hard requirement for this role.

This is a hybrid working (50/50) role with the office based in London. Relocation support and sponsorship is offered for this role for non-UK applicants.

Skills required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in building, deploying, and overseeing secure, production-level backend systems on cloud platforms.
• Solid experience working with data pipelines, various types of databases (relational, in-memory, time-series), notification systems, and virtualized infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices with a focus on automation, identity management, and security.
• Proven track record of designing and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale, production-grade systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to successfully launch products.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience working in a startup environment.
• Knowledge of EVM, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and other DeFi technologies.
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP or Azure.
