Location: Edinburgh or London (Hybrid – 6 days per month in the office).

Strong commercial hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform, including Amazon S3.
Strong commercial experience with AWS Glue for building and maintaining production ETL/ELT pipelines.

Strong commercial experience with Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, data modelling and data warehousing.

Working alongside the Data Engineering Lead and a growing engineering team, you will play a key role in designing, building and optimising enterprise-scale cloud data platforms using modern AWS technologies.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical background and the ability to deliver robust, scalable and production-ready data engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimise scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Build enterprise-grade data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS Glue.
Design, develop and maintain Apache Airflow workflows for automated pipeline orchestration.
Develop scalable Snowflake data models, ingestion pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
Build cloud-native data solutions using AWS services, including Amazon S3.
Develop high-quality SQL and Python solutions for complex data engineering challenges.
Deliver secure, reliable and governed enterprise data platforms.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
Drive automation, monitoring and continuous improvement across the data platform.
