Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain dimensional data models using dbt and Snowflake.
Translate business questions into data requirements by collaborating with senior leaders.
Manage the full model lifecycle including ingestion, staging, testing, documentation, and deployment.
Set and uphold data modeling standards such as naming conventions and testing practices.
Optimize Snowflake performance and control costs through materialization choices and warehouse sizing.
Collaborate with data engineers and business systems teams to ensure quality upstream data.
Review code, mentor team members, and improve overall data team quality.
Communicate data definitions and limitations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
