Cyber Security Analyst in AUSTRALIA

Are you passionate about cyber security and ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our client’s team as an Incident Response Specialist.

***Please note this is not a fully remote role. The client to open to applicants willing to work in Sydney, Perth or ideally the Melbourne office, they provide a hybrid working model***

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on the development and enhancement of cyber security strategies.
• Work closely with internal teams to address current and emerging threats.
• Responsible for designing and conducting cyber incident response (IR) simulation exercises.
• Keeping updated on emerging cyber threats and defense trends, and providing actionable intelligence to Divisions and stakeholders.
• Provide communication and information sharing during incident response events.
• Have investigative capabilities, strategies, and oversight for containment during cyber security incidents.
• Improvement of incident response maturity and capability across the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience in cyber security incident response or threat intelligence analysis.
• Understanding of cyber security frameworks, best practices, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are desirable.
