Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android from a single codebase
Build and maintain the Rails API endpoints that power the mobile app
Work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code across the full stack
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs; optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability
Write unit and integration tests, and help shape our mobile testing strategy
Debug and resolve platform-specific issues, including native modules and bridging
Manage app store submissions and release processes for both the App Store and Google Play
Provide technical leadership on mobile architecture decisions
Set and evolve coding standards and best practices for the mobile codebase
Give effective, constructive code review feedback to other engineers
Mentor and guide engineers on the team in both technical growth and career development
