Key Responsibilities
Own product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for core platform services
Define and prioritize investments improving time-to-first-analysis, workflow success, reliability, scalability, and adoption
Lead product management for data storage, data movement, workflow orchestration, pipeline execution, sample and project management
Drive vision and roadmap for scientific notebooks, interactive analysis experiences, and platform APIs
Partner with Engineering on architecture, performance, reliability, and technical debt
Establish requirements for customer data stores, import/export, data lifecycle management, and platform governance
Define workflow execution experiences including pipeline creation, monitoring, scheduling, and operational visibility
Define go-to-market strategies for major platform capabilities
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on messaging, demos, training, and competitive positioning
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Design, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership
Represent platform strategy in executive leadership forums

Nice to Have
Experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, life sciences software, health technology, or regulated software environments
Prior experience with genomics platforms such as Illumina Connected Analytics (ICA), BaseSpace
Understanding of enterprise-scale data storage, data movement, and large-scale scientific computing
Familiarity with APIs, developer platforms, SDKs, and platform ecosystem development
Experience in regulated environments governed by quality systems, compliance, or ISO 13485
Experience supporting oncology, genetic disease, multiomics, clinical diagnostics, or precision medicine platforms
Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline
