Key Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve the organisation's application security posture.
Develop, maintain, and improve Secure Coding Standards and guidelines.
Analyse and triage security findings from SAST and SCA tools.
Work with tools such as Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and prioritise security vulnerabilities.
Help developers understand security findings and implement remediation solutions.
Support development teams in fixing vulnerabilities in application code.
Fine-tune security scanning rulesets to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
Contribute to internal security tools, including Repository Scanner (RESC).
Explore emerging security risks, including AI-driven threats and agentic development.
Share security knowledge and promote secure development practices across teams.
