Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze and refine business and technical requirements, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria
Map business processes and workflows; prepare functional specifications, diagrams, reports and user documentation
Evaluate existing practices, system capabilities and controls; recommend improvements and resolve requirement gaps
Translate policy and operational needs for technical teams and explain technical changes to business stakeholders
Develop and execute test plans, test scripts and test cases for new or modified software, including regression and integration testing
Validate solutions against documented requirements and quality standards; identify, record, track and retest defects
Review application logs, database records and performance data to investigate errors and verify expected behavior
Create automated tests and maintain test suites when appropriate; document test coverage, outcomes and corrections
Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution, release readiness, user acceptance and post-implementation validation
