Key Responsibilities
Focus on inter-team communication and clear documentation of network details
Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks
Plan, evaluate, coordinate, and perform installation and/or reconfiguration of network hardware and software
Develop technical expertise in voice and data network hardware and software interconnection and interfacing
Maintain network management software platforms
Propose solutions to management for communications requirements
Prepare or ensure appropriate network documentation exists
Provide regular monitoring and network analysis for short- and long-range planning
Assist with coordination of third-party maintenance and vendor support
Perform network designs including hardware and software selection and architecture
Work with program engineers to resolve networking problems in tactical environments
Mentor, train, and share knowledge with the technical team
Work outside normal business hours as needed
