Key Responsibilities
Performance baselines for critical services: SLIs, SLOs, latency, throughput, error-rate targets, workload models from production traffic
Shared performance testing framework and production-like environments (Kubernetes and cloud)
Automated performance regression checks in CI/CD with trend reports
Load, stress, soak, and spike testing and capacity planning
Root cause analysis of bottlenecks across API, database, queue, and frontend layers
Supervise and mentor junior team members and capability building
Technical Skills Required

Runtime profiling and thread/heap analysis on JVM or Node.js
Frontend performance experience: Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, real user monitoring

Chaos or resilience testing and safe testing in production
