Key Responsibilities
Define and refine service-level objectives, indicators, and error budgets to guide engineering decisions.
Lead incident response and conduct post-incident reviews to improve systems.
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies using relevant tools.
Build and maintain on-call processes, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
Automate operational tasks through production-grade tooling in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
Architect and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
Design CI/CD pipelines supporting safe and observable releases.
Lead capacity planning and performance engineering activities.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability best practices.
Enhance platform resiliency through chaos engineering and fault tolerance techniques.
Drive continuous security improvements in partnership with security teams.
Contribute to the technical roadmap for reliability and developer experience.
Mentor engineers on Site Reliability Engineering practices and promote a blameless culture.
