Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain a scalable, high-performance mobile app
Connect real-time AI endpoints, computer vision pipelines, and voice models via APIs and WebSockets
Optimise for low latency, battery efficiency, smooth frame rates, and responsive media processing
Implement secure offline capabilities, state management, and local data caching
Build engaging B2C user flows for pet parents
Implement in-app purchase and subscription infrastructure
Implement behavioural analytics
Lead delivery of onboarding flows, AI insights feeds, media capture pipelines, and personalised push notifications
Establish CI/CD workflows, automated builds, and test pipelines
Maintain code quality through reviews, automated testing, and monitoring
Partner with leadership to estimate complexity, set milestones, and scale the engineering team

The app is not yet built, so this is a foundational engineering role. Your technical decisions will directly shape the core product.
About The Role
You’ll architect and build the mobile app, connect it to real-time AI services, and create engaging consumer experiences. You’ll also set up release processes, quality standards and the technical roadmap as the engineering team grows.
