Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, manage and maintain enterprise database environments.
Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
Monitor database performance, availability, security, and capacity.
Perform database tuning, indexing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.
Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
Work with cloud database services and infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
Implement database security policies, access controls, and best practices.
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and DevOps teams to ensure database reliability and scalability.
Ensure database documentation, operational procedures, and standards are maintained.
