Key Responsibilities

Monitor and triage security alerts across multiple client environments using CW Automate and SIEM tools, classifying and remediating alerts while documenting responses in the ticketing system

Conduct CVE and vulnerability intake by reviewing security forums and vendor communications, triaging threats, and assigning tickets to NOC Analysts as needed

Lead incident response by assessing severity, remediating standard incidents, escalating major incidents, and completing Security RCAs for all resolved incidents

Develop, evaluate, and maintain Northern Computer’s Security Baseline, conduct semi-annual audits, and remediate baseline issues to align with security standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service Desk, NOC, Client Solutions) to coordinate security changes, maintain documentation, and support security-tool deployments

Automate recurring workflows and reduce end-user support requests by identifying inefficiencies in alert resolution and security processes

Provide after-hours and on-call support as scheduled, including participation in client maintenance windows and major incident response
