Key Responsibilities
Lead full-stack development (frontend apps, Python services, APIs, databases) integrated with enterprise systems (SSO, ERP, CRM, finance platforms)
Design and implement cloud infrastructure (IaC, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, backups) for production environments
Drive security initiatives across client engagements and internal engineering, including OWASP/ASVS compliance, identity access management, and AI agent security
Collaborate with client IT/security teams to scope architecture, estimate timelines, and conduct technical due diligence
Mentor engineers and establish deployment templates/review workflows to standardize technical delivery
Leverage AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) for daily workflows while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions

Technical Lead, Platform & Security
London · full-time · reports to the co-founders. You will be the hands-on technical lead for full-stack delivery, cloud operations and security at Towards AI Deployment, and the main technical counterpart for our clients' IT and security teams. You build production software for private equity-backed businesses and financial firms, and make sure everything we ship and run meets a standard we can evidence to any enterprise security team. You do not need AI in your title: our AI engineers lead on models, retrieval and evaluation; you lead on the product, infrastructure, security and integration that put their work into production.
