Key Responsibilities

Manage preparation and execution of equipment integration and functional tests for PQM and FM propulsion systems

Lead qualification campaigns for mechanical propulsion components (e.g., engines, thrusters, pumps, igniters)

Procure and oversee tools, FGSE, and test setups required for AIT operations

Plan integration procedures and schedules in alignment with project timelines

Collaborate with design teams to refine propulsion system designs for easier integration and testing

Oversee assembly, integration, and testing operations on Nyx orbital vehicle capsules

Conduct functional tests (TVAC, outgassing, hydrostatic, proof tests, Cv characterization, etc.)

Document and communicate integration/test results clearly to stakeholders

Identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in AIT processes

Technical Skills Required

Liquid Propulsion Systems Mechanical Assembly & Integration Test System Design (FGSE, Data Acquisition)

Here at The Exploration Company, we are building spacecrafts for humanity.We are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refueled in orbit, and which carries cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.We want you as a talented AIT Propulsion Engineer to help us in our mission by supporting the integration and test of our products and equipment related to propulsion engines.
