Key Responsibilities

Build the product discipline for the firm, defining processes for problem discovery, requirements capture, roadmap ownership, and feedback loops

Own the internal product roadmap for trading and research systems, balancing immediate practitioner pain points with long-term platform foundations

Work directly with traders and researchers to understand workflows, decision-making processes, and pain points

Translate ambiguous practitioner needs into clear, evidence-backed requirements for engineering teams

Ensure internal systems prioritize trust, explainability, and data transparency (e.g., data lineage, source transparency)

Act as the connective tissue between trading, research, engineering, and management to surface trade-offs and align priorities

Start as the sole product leader, then build and lead a small product team as the scope grows

Evaluate external data providers and tooling vendors based on API quality, coverage, latency, reliability, cost, and integration complexity

Establish product rituals, documentation standards, and feedback loops to improve system quality and adoption
