Key Responsibilities

Build, test, schedule, and send responsive HTML emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Content Builder

Rebuild email templates with designers to improve engagement, on-brand design, and testing performance

Design and execute customer journeys in Journey Builder using agreed journey maps

Manage audiences and data using SQL in Automation Studio and data extensions in Contact Builder

Implement personalization with AMPscript, ensuring sensible fallbacks for missing data

Send and manage text campaigns in Mobile Studio with full compliance to UK GDPR/PECR

Conduct quality assurance for every send, including rendering checks across devices and email apps

Maintain send calendar to avoid over-messaging customers (e.g., no more than 5 messages/day)

Monitor deliverability, sender reputation, and data hygiene

Generate and analyze reports on campaign performance (opens, clicks, complaints, opt-outs)

Conduct A/B testing for templates, journeys, and copy to optimize engagement

Serve as the internal expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting product and operations teams
