Key Responsibilities

Champion the design, delivery, and evolution of secure, scalable Ruby on Rails applications and services.

Set technical direction for major projects and platform initiatives, from solution design through production ownership.

Own and evolve the technical roadmap by identifying and driving new technical initiatives.

Identify systemic pain points and propose architectural improvements, including decomposition of monoliths.

Partner with Product, QA, Security, and engineering leaders to shape technical roadmaps and ensure compliance.

Pioneer and enable the responsible use of AI in engineering workflows, advising on adoption and governance.

Champion code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Mentor engineers at all levels and help raise the bar on technical execution and architectural thinking.

Continuously evaluate and pilot new tools and technologies, including AI toolchains.
